Are you doing any physio? You may find that changes to your diet help some too. We do various on line free classes which have helped me with all my aches & pains - mentally & physically - also it’s helped my breathing - no end.
The opposite happened to me. I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for 40 years. After my some what lengthy stay in ICU i lost a tremendous amount of weight, I also had to stop my RA drugs because of my immune system. Once I came home I seemed to be in remission until about 6 weeks later I had a really bad flare up which meant restarting my drugs. However I am finding that because of my weight loss and chair exercises I am getting better strength in my joints, other than fused, I have been weening myself of gabapentin and found that the exercises are also assisting my pain management. There is good advice on the NHS website which includes consulting with your GP.
