Covid X Stroke

Hi all, just writing to inform that my mom is doing good. She's fully conscious and responsive and can speak. She can also eat, drink and breath on her own. We transferred her to another hospital and hopefully she'll get a better treatment there. They already tested her again for Covid and we are waiting for the results.

Well the news is that she did have a stroke while she was intubated. So she's very paralyzed and can only move her left arm. The recovery road will be very long for us...

She also has some bad looking bedsores which are now being treated by a great team. Maybe she'll need a surgery to fix that.

Mom has tested NEGATIVE. Going to the normal ward now and will start physiotherapy soon.

She has an urine infection and anemia. Once healed they will discuss plastic surgery for her back wound.
