According to peer reviewed medical journal ICM ( Intens Care Med) :

“ Despite anticoagulation, a high number it patients with COVID 19 ARDS develop life threatening thrombotic complications, meaning that higher anticoagulation targets than in usual critically ill patients should probably be considered.”
