My 3 year old grandson got sepsis in April, by July he lost all of his hair, a little while later all of his eyelashes and eyebrows. We have been told mixed messages. But the latest last week that it looks like alopecia universal. We are thankful he survived sepsis but are devastated. The dermatologist said he thinks sepsis was just a coincidence. He didn't seem to think it was the sepsis as the white fine hair growth is too slow. I mean its October so I don't know how fast it should grow. My daughter is devastated. The medical professionals are well its only cosmetic. Really? Not sympathetic at all. Did anyone else lose eyelashes and eyebrows? We are praying it will all come back.
