3 day induced Com for brain swellings

After being awakened from medically induced coma still weak after 5 days after being brought out of coma, how long to be back to 80 plus % stamina?

Hi my mam has just been took out of her coma and oxygen tube and she is very weak and can walk she still loses her breath when she talks and she is hallucinating and the doctors have told me this would be like this for a week or so. I hope this helps you x

It takes approx. 10/12 days to recover from everyday you are on ICU. People can lose 40% muscle tone in the first ten days of a medically induced coma. I experienced a two month coma that took me eleven days to wake up from. It has taken me a considerable time to get back to ‘normal’ - It is a different normal.
