Problems following endometrial ablation/sterilisation

I underwent an endometrial ablation and sterilisation back in Sept 2015 and have have niggling issues since. I have recently had a scan that has now found fibroids and fluid and they have placed me on an urgent referral to see a consultant, should i be worried?

Hi,

It’s good that they’re taking care of you.The good news is that fibroids are benign growths and unfortunately many women suffer from them.They can also pop up again,even after ablation.

Your consultant may well do an ultrasound and have a chat with you about how to best assist with any pain or bleeding.

I always go to my appointments with a list of questions!This is precious time and you need to feel supported.
