Hi Alanpaul

Warfarin got my life back!. I can not imagine going back to those dark days before. My brain fog cleared / improved once I went onto medication.

(I work full time and run my own company)

Good luck

I have APS but am seronegative. I am on fragmin rather than warfarin as the warfarin did not suit. I had a stroke in January and assumed that all the symptoms were down to that.

I was sent to a speech and language therapist about the same time they started my fragmin and the speech therapist gave me some home work to do between the one month appointments. When I went back there was nothing on my sheet because there had been no incidents to report for me to write down and report back to her. Thats how good the Fragmin had changed things. What I thought was all stroke related was actually APS. Of course there are still residue issues but they are more physical but Im working on those too!!

If you have a similar reaction to me then the answer is yes!!

Hi there, like Garry I do not know how I managed without warfarin. The headaches went with the loading dose and the fogginess has slowly lifted. I still get tired and often close my eyes during the day, especially when watching tv, but overall warfarin remains, for me, the wonder drug. Best wishes Mary H x
