Is there a contact nurse at ST

As recently been referred to ST, I am just wondering whether there is a contact nurse in the department that one can speak to. I find that here in the South West there is no one you can speak to for advice and end up trying to get of the consultant who are quite difficult to get hold of.

HI, I would ring the hospital and ask to speak to the allocated consultant's secretary - they will know who and what and where, more so than making a general enquiry! Mary F x

thank you

There is the option to leave a message for the nurse - they set aside one afternoon a week to ring patients back but there can be quite a backlog!
