4 past 2 wks inr gone frm 1.1 2 1.4 bk 2 1.1 so gt take 14mg warfrin n clexene .gt 2 go 4 bloods every otha day.cld a common cold efffct ur inr

14mg! blimy & I thought I was on a high dose at 8 & 9! plus your'e having clexane too, I am asking wether I need that to push mine up?

Think many things can affect our inr but maybe not as much as that? mention it to docs if you can.

Foods can also affect my INR, brocollia & dark greens make my inr crash, did you get given a list of foods that affect warfarin?

Colds and fatigue / over doing things dont help either.

Self monitoring helps as I can test call nurse with result and she gives me revised dose.

My you do have a hefty dose... I take average warfarin 4.8mg per day at that has me spot on at INR 4.5.

like sue i have had really issue on INR as like you mine goes up and down like a yo yo and like Garry said food and your stress levels can have an effect as well as tiredness.
