What's the deal with vitamin supplements? Should vit k supplements in particular be avoided?

I would be interested to know what's good and what's not for persons with aps. For instance: as vit k aids coagulation, I'm assuming we shouldn't be going crazy on the greener shades of foods as well as taking care with vitamin supplements?

I take over 40 supplements a day but due avoid Vitamin K, it just doesn't work with Warfin. But the really best ones are Vit. D which I take 10,000iu a day and my Vit D level is on the higher side but still in the normal range. Others are Coconut oil, Resevarol and Co-Q-10. But there are so many. I just really think I feel better with them!!!!!

Don't take vitamin K in supplements but its ok to include almost all fruit and veg as they are good for health in general, just don't binge on any particular food. Do NOT eat any cranberry product when on warfarin. Also graprefruit can be a problem for some people who are on other meds as well as warfarin because tgey can interact. Check wth your pharmacist who has a list of your meds.

Also check if any foods contain vitamin K in the ingredients, a lot of slimmers foods have it in.
