Been to docs today & had my inr checked, it's still only 2.1!!
On 7 & 8 warfarin still & another appointment for next Tuesday to check it again, still foggy headed & daft!!
You know what I dont get? why do they put warfarin in 'pop' out strips?? your fingers kill from poping them all out! I have to get my son to pop them out each time I get them from the chemist & he puts them in a bottle for me
I was given my flu jab also today, arm bruised where it was put but OK otherwise, just hoping I shant react like last year as it was my first time & was quite ill from it for around 2 weeks!
Hope you are all well & smiling xx

Love the pic and i think low INR is catching and i though you and sheena were silly already but have decided iam joining with an INR of 1.2 lol the Low INR gang hope your arm ok.
How true - I am in that gang and try to stay around 3.5. Last week my inr went up to 4.3 and I was racing around like a whirling dervish! But back to reality this week. Wish it could be over 4.0 all the time, but I know it's not safe. Consultant who did my last shoulder op was very surprised that I was allowed to go as high as 4.0, but then again he hadn't met any other Hughes patients...!!!
i was low last couple of tests , that 3-4 gang sounds good to me, last one 1.8 should be 3-3.5 will find out thurs , next day with the vampires , as well, hellowen is just around the corner. be well all jet
Must be that time of year - my INR has been below 3 for the last 2 weeks. I've had my flu jab last week and don't think it has affected my INR as that was low before I had the jab. No side effects aside from a bit of arm ache for a day
Had my Flu jab last week and a pneumonia too. So I had two sore arms for a couple of days. Apart from that no real affects although chest did feel a bit tight over week-end and had a bit of a dry cough and a bit of a sjogrens flare so as that was my first pneumonia jab perhaps it caused a bit of a reaction which was not too bad. Nothing that paracetamol didn't fix anyway!
Strangely my INR went the other way - 4.2 so Im in the (was going to say mile high club) but thats not what I meant!!!! Ha - too many years working for the favourite airline.....
Oh....so quite a few of us have inr low at the momen..except for you Judes!! wow 10 & over! hope you are well & ok with it like that? strange how it dropped so dramatically tho' ?!
Thats so true....I worry even though I keep my tabs somewhere safe usually it still worries me if I forget & leave the on the side some where kids that visit/or our cat may find them even when my son pops them all out for me he's aware that he must be carefull not to drop any.
OK I vote we all should be in the new club by Xmas!!
lol Ok this time next week will be the over 5 gang lol it is like being on a quiz show i wait for the call to say am i higher or lower than i should be . Judes 10!!!! wow the highest i got was 9.8 and i was sent to A&E for Vit K and the docs nearly having a fit lol
yep I was around 8 - 9 & it was all down to a 'student' doc dosing me the warfarin after an operation a few years ago, I had said if you ask me to take the amount he had said....it would go too thin as it was already not too bad....I was told to do as I was told! so I did .....oh....it went thin!!!!!
But yep we can play how high can you go...or how low can you go! ..................I'm sure there's a song about that!!
Hows a starting bid of 2.1, although on steroids and probably antibiotics tomorrow (chest infection), so will have to be checked again this week so may get higher yeah!!!!!
