I know the weather changed and every year my hands get dry, but this year they are bad. Any suggestions?

I use that swedish foot cream ccs swedish foot cream, I use it on my hands and my feet... and after a bath I massage into my hands or feet or both a small amount of virgin olive oil, this normally does the trick! Mary F x

Get some cotton gloves, then before bed, put a good helping of vaseline (pure petroleum) on your hands then the gloves on, and in the morning they feel loads better, works great for feet too! defo helps my hands and feet. X

Rubber gloves for washing up and warm leather gloves for going outside, keep out the wet and cold then lots of handcream or vaseline if they are very bad. My skin cracks and bleeds on the knuckles if i am not careful. x

There is a reasonably priced product here called Miracle Foot which is an analgesic made of 60% Aloe. It's the aloe that's the miracle. It works on hands and feet very well and my wallet as well. Believe me we get some mighty, cold, wet and windy winters in Chicago.x

Ditch the dishes - get a dishwasher. Be careful peeling spuds as the starch aggravates your hands - wash it off promptly or where gloves. Keep moisturiser with you at all times and apply frequently. Never go outside without decent gloves on - especially if you have Raynauds as well.

Get your doctor to prescribe Doublebase Gel. Marvellous stuff !! It does not leave your hands or feet sticky like some lotions. It comes in a big pump bottle and last for ages. You can also get it from Amazon at £11.99 p&p free.

We all have our favourite hand creams, and I swear by Clarins hand and nail cream works for me. I think I have a tube in every room of the house.I can't bear anything greasy like Vaseline on my hands. The down side is it is not cheap.

Also wear rubber gloves when doing dishes get the ones that have cotton inside as that way your hands dont get hot and sweaty which can lead to more problems,.
