Thanks so much for your input/answers. I don't even know what INR is/means? You have asked for more info about my APS which I'll gladly provide...where and how do I do that? Ta!

Go to the green line at the top of the page. On the right hand side you will see your name 'pinkcollar' and a small arrow pointing down. Press this arrow with your mouse and select 'Profile'. Here you can add any information you want to about yourself. xxx
Hi pinkcollar, yes you can fill in your profile more fully, as InSpain suggests and you can also post things about your condition in the fprum blogs here.
INR is an acronym for International Normailsed Ratio, which is a measure of how long it takes for your blood to clot, when on Warfarin. When you are on Warfarin it is necessary to maintain your INR value in the target range set by your doctor and blood tests are done, regularly, to check this. An INR of 1.0 is what most people will have who are not on Warfarin. To remain reasonably well and without too many symptoms, many APS patients need to have an INR of between 3.5 & 4.5 (so it takes their blood 3.5 to 4.5 times longer to clot than people not on Warfarin).
Best wishes.
