When taking medication for pain, are pill forms of meds less effective for you, and have to go to hosplital for IV pain meds to get reliief... and what pain meds do you use to get relief?

how easy is it for you to access a myofascial release therapist - here it is hard to find someone trained in myofascial release masage - just only in giving ingection treatment in trigger areas - I am in Ontario, Canada... very few experienced in this area - if you do - really expencive to get it done

Skylark,I have never heard of aps pain needing strong iv pain meds. I Have lupus and fibro also and I take vicodon at home and if that doesn't work my doctor has me go to the er for iv steriods and pain meds..

in aps - steriods is not used - but only in prenancy if needed - they find using steroids can cause aversive affects like masive adima...
