question. For 3 months now I have had strange red spots on my cheeks. Random, come and go. But in clusters. Now I have raised ones all over my nose and red spots all over my cheeks. Tested negative in early 2000’s for lupus. Can it be that ? My nose has been a week now. I am 59. I really don’t have time for something else. Ha. I have APS, hemophilia B, and limb girdle muscular dystrophy. I walk daily and eat very clean. No grains. Very low carbs. No sugar. Organic. Just curious if anyone here was diagnosed later with lupus. Rash I am hoping just goes away!! Soon! I don’t have time for this.

rash on face
Hi Pooky7! Take photos! Rashes are notoriously difficult to diagnose, so go to see your doctor!
Be well!

I do agree with lupus-support1 rashes can very annoyingly disappear, especially when due a visit to the GP, I would take plenty of photographs and see the GP asap for a referral if necessary. MaryF
Funnily enough I have the same style rash almost looks like lupus butterfly rash but have never tested positive for lupus although aps diagnosis 👍
A malar rash is very specific. Malar rash, also named a butterfly rash, is a common facial presentation of multiple disorders. It is characterized by an erythematous flat or raised rash across the bridge of the nose and cheeks, which usually spares nasolabial folds. It may be transient or progress to involve other areas of facial skin. If it crosses the “line” it’s not a malar rash assuming with lupus:
How long have you had the rash?
Hi it's best to take good photos so you have for a appointment.
