Hi everyone, since I started on warfarin I’ve not had any more tattoos, (NHS recommend not to) but wondered if anyone has experience or thoughts around having them done. (INR 2-3 and 11mg/day)

Cheers

Cool. I was thinking to have a small test done somewhere more discrete and take it from there. Thanks!

Hi there. I've been on warfarin since November and have already had some work added to my current tattoos. Another appt this coming week in fact! I always get my INR done just prior to ensure I'm at a safe level. I've had no issues whatsoever. It is, however, important to have an artist you have worked with previously, and trust implicitly, who will let you know if you're bleeding more than usual. I would also check with your own medical team... they know you best! Good luck!
