Europe here I come!

Looking forward to a months break in the Northern hemisphere but not the 24+ hours to fly there.

My cabin carry on contains 6 boxesx10 of Clexane which unfortunately don't compress any smaller but all the more reason to have room at the end for stuff to buy. Rheumy has given all clear and I'm looking so forward to see the performance of the Spanish riding school and a relaxing river cruise through the Balkans before coming home. I believe it's been quite warm in Austria so my Raynauds should be held in check. I have gloves, compression stockings for the flights and antiseptic wipes as well as crossing my fingers that all goes well!

So cheers to all and I might still have a little time to duck in here for a quick peek :)

Keep well. Ozchick.

I’ve done the hand baggage stuffed with Clexane too….. if it helps at all, I’ve never had any issue at airports.

Sounds like a great break, hope you have a wonderful holiday, some wonderful place’s making me a little envious, just got to sort the travel insurance…..

Oh how wonderful I have never been to Austria. I am at present touring Northern Portugal. At airport check in I always seem to have quite a await as they examine my epi pens as they can't go through scanner. I produce paperwork but some always question why I get them back eventually and the ice packs manage to last the journey keeping them cool

Enjoy! When I fly I produce a doctor's note that confirms my need for one of those few extra leg room seats. And I get up and pace up and down an aisle once an hour.

yes I’ve normally got that amount of fragments which together with all the other meds means an extra bag just for medical which you are allowed over and above your normal allowance. Just make sure you have your Drs letter plus a copy of your prescriptions.

I’ve seen what you’re going to see it’s a real treat. Have a wonderful vacation!
