understanding blood results

Hello all

Does anyone understand blood resultls?

My printout says that my anti b2 glyco IgG is *HIGH* at 6.3U/ml and that the normal range is 0.0-5.0.

when I google this it seems that ranges are reported in very different ways and I can't find any info that relates to how my result numbers.

Any clues?

It’s very important that your doctor interprets the result. No one else can do so. I know it’s frustrating, but see your own doctor.

With good wishes,

Hi Ros - I have. I have an appointment with rheumatology but before that cam through I booked a private one too. GP advised me to go to both and so I had the blood results printed off to take with me. I expected Low Positive which, is what it was the first time. Slightly alarmed by *HIGH* and wondered what it means.

I truly understand how anxiety provoking results ca be. You are doing the best thing in seeing your doctors. It’s difficult not to worry, but hopefully you are seeing them soon.

Be well!

Hiya, your GP and your specialist will help you with these, always good to have the ranges, try not to worry, results for these sort of disease can be a bit up and down, I know mine are, results wise. MaryF
