As you know with your encouragement, I had lots of blood tests via my fantastic GP. Normally the blood tests results are within days. But with Covid they have taken over 6 weeks. My GP, phoned me tonight. Yet again vitamin D Diffencecy. So he has now prescribed a high dose, so maybe now my hair brush will not look like a hamster, or my vacuum cleaner?

But the bad news, after over six weeks, the blood clots out of my back side, have markers of cancer.

They are sending me for a CT Scan, as last time I had the camera up my back side, I hemorrhage last time. I am so terrified of going to the hospital, risk of Covid.

I have just lost today, a 17th person I know to Covid, one of them my father

They all caught it in or on a hospital visit in the uk.

Very concerning news.

Can you get the vaccine before getting in the scanner? Please call and ask. Can you email your provider? I do know that some doctors are giving it directly to their vulnerable patients at the hospitals, like Guys.

So sorry about your father and other dear ones you have lost to Covid.

Hiya, firstly, sorry that you are currently having such a rough ride, please do use this forum as much as you would like to. I echo what Kelly has said, regarding getting the vaccine done, as quickly as possible, and also good that you are starting immediately on high dose vitamin D. It is very sad to hear about your friends and family suffering like that. Big hugs. MaryF

I'm sorry your going through all this, and the loss of your friends and family, please call your GP and your specialist, share your anxieties, they are real and genuine, they need to be addressed too. I'm really hoping they offer you the vaccine quickly, hope all goes smoothly for the scan.

Let us know how you get on?

Sending you a big hug so you know we are here. xx

I’m so sorry to read of all the losses to Covid that you have had. No wonder you are concerned. It must be worth asking your GP for advice and help as you have such a good one who is helping you so much. The CT scan will be quicker than a colonoscopy and non invasive but I think you still need the bowel emptying routine which is the bit I would hate most! Good luck with it. Xx
