When u are feeling down and feel like u can’t take it anymore! Dance just buy urself Even if u no longer have the coordination. Music u like and little dancing! It’s almost impossible to be sad & feel bad while dancing.

No I’m not a dancer and I no longer have coordination but I love music it’s always been there for me. So get up, or sit down put on a song and dance!!! Give urself a mental break that we all need!!

My current visual: Tom Cruise in Risky Business dancing by himself and singing in his underwear and socks and sunshades!!!!

So 1980’s!

Good suggestion! Do not forget to sing also. That gives happiness to the soul.

For me it's a walk -- or a drive!- through the forest covered hills of my native state, West Virginia.

Great idea and good to encourage each other in this way.

I enjoy a good walk in hills of S Wales where I'm fortunte to live, though can only manage short walks on the flat at the moment, but do enjoy drumming, especially with the Taiko Mynydd Ddu (= Black Mountain taiko - we're on Facebook) group I play with. A quick plug - we play at festivals, to open events (like when you want to get people's attention to start a rally or open a new venue etc) or as part of a concert. Let me know if you'd like us to come, or if you live nearby and want to join a workshop session do get it touch.

A good drumming session does wonders

Thanks a lot Kelly! ! :). Now every time I close my eyes I see the Tom Cruze slide! I’m just kidding Kelly, it’s true but it’s funny, not bad!! I have never seen the movie so that’s about all I know of the MOVIE!!!

However, now that I think of it I see Billy Idol dressed up in his leathers and singing “Dancing with my self” .

Thank you to everyone for your replies to my post. I hope u take the advise and at least try it out a few times, hope It makes you smile!

Sometimes, I sing and dance with my 8yr old son. I like introducing him to different bands like the Ramones, the Clash, the Police, Johnnie Cash, etc. My husband is a ska fan and therefore our son is too. Our son Seamus and his friend Adam play in a pretend band called, "Dead Guy and the Grave Diggers." They came up with that band name all by themselves. We use the landing of our stairs as the stage. When Seamus was little we did 10 minutes of rocking out before bedtime every night. I saw Billy Idol when I was 13!
