I have not see a qualified Rheumatologist for 2 and half years. The consultant I am seeing now is an Acute specialist who in his words is helping out. This because here in South Wales there is a lack of qualified Rheumatologists. I am not alone in recognising this fact as there are groups in dialogue with the Welsh assembly. How many others in England and Scotland have to put up with inadequate treatment?

Hi, I think quite a few find it difficult to get a specialist, either not referred or long long waiting lists, have you looked at our list of recommended specialists, there are a few in Wales? The list is under pinned posts over on the right hand side of the forum. MaryF
