The path of health never runs smooth! I had to go back to Hospital a week or so ago to get the K-wire out. This is normally a quick pull with a pair of pliers at the surgery but mine embedded itself and skin grew over it. The surgeon wasn't keen for some reason to do a cut and stitch as he didn't want to mop up blood in his nice clean surgery-don't know why! It has healed and I took out the stitches yesterday and so far it's held together. So nice to be able to wash hands properly after having it wrapped in plastic for weeks. Last visit to him on Tuesday as well as hand Physio and I fly off to Munich Wednesday. I imagine most of Europe has WiFi ;) so I'll drop in from time to time to catch up on the news.

Keep well everyone!
