Just had a thought-(Brain working a little better today )For those needing a long commute to their Doctor-I had this problem a few years ago when I was sorting myself out and my Rheumy offered me Skype consults. He had been seeing me prior so knew of my history so I was able to check in with him for the 2 or so months I was away. I have to say he's quite a gem but it's worth asking?

I *think* I went to a local GP to get BP results to pass on and may have been on Warfarin at the time-not sure about the last-may have switched to Clexane by then.

Yes good idea. I also have occasional telephone appointments with my Professor as I live 200 miles away from my specialist.

Thank you for taking the trouble, I certainly opt at times for a phone consult with the GP if something fairly straight forward that I need fine tuning. MaryF
