My brother died

My older brother Bob who would be turning 60 on 3/7/17, dropped dead in his kitchen. They did a partial autopsy and pulled all boll and fluids. I begged him to get tested for Factor 5 Lieden which I also have. It will be 10 weeks before the tests come back. I hope it was just a heart attack having nothing to do with Factor 5 because if he would have gotten tested he would have been on warfarin if he dif in fact have Factor 5. Please pray for my family. Especially my mother. I truly appreciate the support here.

Thank you all for your condolences and support. I know it was not really relate to APS but a close cousin of it. I appreciate the indulgence.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what your family must be going through. Sometimes even when everything in our power is done to extend our life a little longer it's still not enough. Just try to remember that we all try to do the best we can with the circumstances we have. Your family is in our thoughts & hearts from California.

Sorry for your loss. Prayers from Florida.

So so sorry for your loss. My cousin died at age 22 in 1976. Reading her detailed autospy report, after all I know, I suspect she probably had Hughes syndrome. (Her death was caused by a brain embolism she had been diagnosed of suspected MS). I have also tried to educate my immediate and extended family. Prayers from Chicago.
