Lesion on brain

Had major stroke 2011. My target Inr is 4 .

Just had an MRI scan which showed up a few tiny lesions ? Must of happened some time since my last MRI in 2013 what are lesions and what do they mean ??

Not sure how old you are 😬I had my stroke at the age of 43 so only had these new lesion show up only in the last 3 years . Since 2013

I can't say what your are but I do have multiple white areas that are referred to as infacts. They are small areas in the brain where strokes have left visual damage. While the vast majority of my strokes are TIA's they do not leave visible damage in the brain. When I have stroke or CVA's then there will usually be visible damage in the brain and they shows as white spots. Only your dr. And radiologist can actually answer your question. Sorry.
