Thanks Mary,

No 4. Mediterranean-food is not only good for your heart but also for the stomach and especially when we use Warfarin. You always have all these things at home and that way I have at least 12 different things every day on my plate. Quick and easy. I cook some of the vegetables but it only takes 10 minutes. It is a smart way to keep the INR in range also I have found.

A Rheumatologist here in Stockholm suggested several years ago that i should keep this diet and so I have done. I am not allergic to anything as far as I know but my stomach do not like fat and wheat.

I eat a fully Mediterranean diet, as do my children, although for myself I totally avoid gluten!  I make everything from scratch and we all stick to around 12 a day rather than the recommended 5 a day which is too low for myself and family.   MaryF
