Hello all. I'm confused after receiving a letter from consultant at St Thomas's. Apparently my bloods this visit came up with negative LA and also negative on the Taipan venom test! I was diagnosed after two positive LAs (in Oct 14 and Jan 15). Can this happen?

Hi, the blood testing can go in and out of positive and negative testing, it does not mean the disease has gone away. MaryF
Hi,
You have been positive twice so there can not be any discussion if you have APS or not.
You have APS and you have to stick with it the rest of your life. I am also Lupus Anticoagulant but as I am on Warfarin they can not rely on the answer any more. Hope you are well anticoagulated and have a doctor who understands this rare illness.
Best wishes from Kerstin in Stockholm
