Central Series Retinopathy (CSR)

Hi All

I asked at the hospital and the eye specialists said that there is no connection to Lupus or APS but thought I'd ask... I have had CSR for a number of years but was told that it was not treatable. On Friday I went to the eye clinic at St Thomas' after a referal to the Drs in my transplant clinic, and they told me it should have been treated years ago.

I am having to get it lasered (an Argon Laser)... anyone any experience of anything similar??

Tx

I has retinal haemorrhages at a time when I had undiagnosed particularly poorly kidneys. I dont know if this may be similar for you or not.

My eye problems seemingly resolved when the kidney problem was controlled.

If they can find out what is causing the problem and treat that rather than the eye symptoms you may have more luck
