hi all iv looked at my list and cant find out if beetroot and warfrin dont mix. doas it contain vit k?? thanks stacey. my phone wont let me see links.

I love beetroot and I've never noticed it affect my INR. Also, we tend to eat it in fairly small quantities. This Link has lots of info, if you get the opportunity to check it:

Enjoy your beetroot, it's low, especially in the small quantities we eat but it's good to check!

I did have a dramatic response to it but I did eat losing salads and made a soup. Its a very healthy food so good to be able to include but I don't recommend doing what I did.Ann

The leaves have a relatively high K. I've never had any problem with the roots.
