hs smell ???

just been diagnosed with hs after years of pain and boils and a pilonidal sinus.does anyone else have a problem with the awful smell or is it just me. i shower daily but 10 minutes later the smell comes back

Yea it is a narley smell that can come from those things.. you just have to pack it up with as much gauze as you can to keep the smell from being that bad. Also after you take the antibiotics, i have learned that the smell will decrease.. So just remember packing it down really good helps..

I carry antibacterial hand wipes with me at all times but since I started Humira 3 years ago I’ve only needed them a handful of times and they are all in places where I had lesions and tracts before I started the Humira

Iodine squares under the gauze helps draw out the crap and reduce the smell

Yes I do.. I was told to use a deodorant called clear but I still can’t use it because of the open cysts
