Anyone ever have any issues with an employer learning they are HIV positive? What about if theres an injury on the job? Particularly in the medical field? Anyone have any experience?

Anyone in case of injury should be treated as a carrier of diseases. Hiv is just one of those diseases.
I agree. I had some issues but that's because I disclosed. In the UK I believe there would only be precautions with invasive surgery but even then shouldn't they assume anyone could have HIV especially since those with the highest viral load who are much more infectious often don't know they have it...
You should not tell your employer, unless you are in the nursing/healthcare fields. You should only tell those who definitely need to know.
