I found out a few months back that I had hep c.
4 weeks ago I started treatment (maveret) tablets after 2 weeks of treatment I had blood tests. It's gone totally I am now 4 weeks in and have 4 weeks left of treatment. It's brilliant what can be done now.
When I first found out I was going to arrange my funeral and everything.

Hi sweets. I am bearing up 😀 just keep telling myself that I will be better for this. When the nausea hit me I just ate like a robot, it works. Doesn't mean you will get any side effects. people taking this dont have any.My pain is better. HopING for hospital appt next wk for bloods. You ok? soon your appt. xx😍😍
Hi love😊 I’m hoping to get one side effect weight loss haha.I’ve not even looked into side effects and am not gonna bother. Just gonna take it and hopefully just get on with it.Am ok thanks am up and down today’s been a good day.And am sure that will all stop soon. Hope you are getting some sleep.Xx
Eating no problem Some nights only couple of hours sleep so I have lots more time to get things done 😂😂doesn't bother me I just get back to bed when I can & doze like a proper elder 😂😂 I haven't been well for long time so I don't think it's the meds. It isn't bad enough to stop just more alarming than anything. 😍 next year best year 😘

Yes definitely that’s what I’m focusing on had my antidepressant dose increased today so hopefully that will help.If you ever need to talk am here regardless wether I’m up or down! It will be a jolly year for us both 🙌😘😘😘

Thanks Alan I have read this forum for a few months. As you can imagine when I first found out I smacked google to death. They is a few places like this that kept me sane

I'm a very personal person. I have watched and you all helped me without knowing it would of been ungrateful for me not to pop in and say hello and thankyou but not until I could have something positive to maybe help someone else with. It was a rollercoaster for me as I only found out a few months ago and that was down to getting help for alcohol.
Strange how things work out I haven't touched a drop since my liver tests came back with this
I was the same at first ,but found it really helpfull talking to people in the know about it and found we all help each other.good luck with your alcohol battle,and do let us know how you are getting on👍
Thanks Alan i will do the alcohol has not been a issue since I realised the depth of my problems. Hopefully it will stay that way.
It's now time to rebuild my life all this has made me realise I wasted so much of my adult life through substance and other things im nearly 43 where did it all go.
Well never mind what’s gone on before we can’t change that can we ,I also took many wrong turnings into a brick wall mostly but as long as we learn from it and keep working at it that’s what’s important.👍

Times have changed so much recently,treatments are coming thick and fast,that one your getting seems a popular choice,it is so easy to treat now,once the price comes down,I think it will be available for anyone who wants it xx

Well only a couple of week left now until end of treatment. I feel differant i used to be always tired and also sleep long hours now I seem to be sleeping on average 5 hours a night i have more energy. The treatment is brilliant and its amazing what they can do now. I'm back at hospital the first few days of January so will keep you all updated.
