I have busy life working and caring for young and older members of my family. I am worried that the side effects of the treatment are going to put a stop to this ?

Side effects of treatment
I have worked continously with many symptoms and ill health with hepc before and during treatment, I have a busy schedule also and to be honest it is actually better when on treatment as the side effects are very mild and minimal in comparison & because we know it's clearing the virus it is ok. Hope this makes sense. 😍😍I am self employed so no chance of sick notes or sick pay. If I can do it anybody can. 😊 I am tiny and was poorly for a long time. best wishes 😍😍
Thanks for your reply. I am self employed too and just hope I will be able to continue. How are the drugs dispensed; once a day or once a week?
I had mine delivered by a company to home month at a time. They will let you know. It's the old medication that caused side effects the newer ones are fine. Some people take 1 tablet a day, mine was 3 at the same time. they give you all the instructions you need and more ☺ When you have your next appt and more you will know more. before you know it summer will be upon us and you will be clear 😍😍
Off to sleep now but will answer any queries, tips on getting through the anxiety etc. try to sleep happy. Speak later 😘😘
Hi jea, do you know what’s what and for how long yet ?for me it was a drug called epclusa for 12 weeks and to treat the genome 3a.like susy has said mine also got delivered to the home, although poor cara is doing hers now and has to make daily visits to her chemist and the dispensing is monitored by the pharmacy, the price of them you’de think a rep from the company could bring it around.anyway I personally had no side effects.so don’t read about side effects I’m sure you’ve felt worse and carried on working good luck hope you let us know 🙋🏻♂️
Hello😊my side effects were heavy for first few days, now on day 10 and I'm well. Not everyone gets them and for me I was queasy and tired. I'm good now! I am genotype 1.
I’m in my sixties and a carer for my husband. I also work from home (freelance graphic designer). Apart from a serious dose of the flu when I was out of action for a day I’ve been able to cope with my carer duties and my work. Rest when you can, some people sail through the treatment and are fine, others of us muddle through. Help and practical advice on here, it’s been invaluable for me.
Thanks for the reassurance. I have always been low on energy levels so I was wondering if this might be too much but guess I won't know until I start during Easter break, x
Try and get as fit as you can before the treatment starts. I was long distance walking and doing some running up to the day before. Even though I have side effects it’s still better than having the virus, which I now know was making me ill with what I thought were food allergies and migraines. Try and schedule things then you can have a rest after lunch and go early to bed. Don’t do too much on the good days, as I’ve learned the hard way
Thanks for the tips, x
