I had an ablation 15 months ago for atrial fibrillation and have experienced Ectopics of various types.Pvcs, missed beats, begiminy a few times & even trigeminy once. have been off diltiazem for 5 days and although they're still there I feel better in myself.
Unless I have a 24 HR monitor I don't know just how often I am having these. But at least 3 times per 30 sec reading. Is this likely to cause damage to my heart?
Have been discharged by consultant but still getting help from Arythmia nurses.

Hmm it's difficult to guess and whatever we say will be a guess. How many beats a minute are you having? As 60-100bpm is considered normal if it's under 100bpm then my guess is you will possibly be ok.
I hope someone a little wiser will come along and have asked that question to their EP.
I have 20,000-30,000 per day, and they were concerned about my heart, but my echo was fine. From my reading, and talking with my EP, under 10,000 a day is generally not cause for intervention, but I will tell you, it feels like poo...
Get loads, especially when tired. I use hrv(heart rate variability) to track how my fitness programme is going and sometimes theres's too many to get any kind of sensible reading. But still exercising and hill walking with no probs so heart failure isn't inevitable
I took Tramadol for two years and it caused arrhythmias. That's according to the Dr at the hospital I was taken to when I collapsed while I was out walking my dogs.
I was having 30k -40k ectopics a day and he said that it was confusing my ticker to the point where it didn't know what to do or when to do it. I was diagnosed with HF at level 4.
I stopped the Tramadol immediately and, although it took some time, I have improved to the point where my HF is considered 'mild'.
