I had atrial flutter treated successfully by ablation 2 years ago. I still take anti-coagulants and have been told that I could now stop these. I am worried about doing this, so my doctor is suggesting monitoring with a Kardia device for a few months and if all good, then stopping.
My question is, would a single lead Kardia be okay for this and do you have to subscribe to a Kardia membership for it to work?
Any advice would be very welcome.

I am post ablation for VT ( procedure May 2021), now off all drugs, and building up my exercise regime and life again!
I have a Kardia mobile device, and use this mostly to monitor any blips I may have. It was recommended to me by a cardiologist at my local hospital a and e. I have a six lead equivalent one. It is reassuring and I have shared these recordings with the cardiac rhythm team and will share with my cardiologist at my next appointment.
I don’t subscribe to the Kardia mobile team, as I feel it not necessary for me, and my cardiologist knows my condition the best so prefer to share with him at appointments. But that is a very personal preference.
I feel when arrhythmia can very often be paroxysmal it’s great to capture readings when you feel there is a blip.
Hope this helps. Hope coming off the drugs goes well.
