I diagnosed with Flutter end of June 22 after a couple of trips to A&E. prescribed Edoxaban 30mg with Bisosporol 2.5 daily reduced to 1.25 mg daily as I already have low BP. Episodes of possible Flutter are happening at least once a week. I do have etopics apparently and one ECG showed narrow tachycardia.

I had a call yesterday from a physiologist Doctor at the Cardiology Unit who said I would no longer be having a Holter to check my heart as she felt a device I carry with me at all times would be the way to go? I would have the device for a few days, if I had symptoms I was to put it on my chest and record then download and send in to Cardiology. Would this be similar to a Kardia device?? I have no date for this device as will need to go into hosp to chat to her and I’m in a queue.

I was then contacted to be offered a telephone appointment with an EP at the Cardiology Unit on 12 Sept 22 when he will discuss my symptoms etc. so I’m very relieved something is happening.

My husband listened to my chest with a stethoscope (he uses this normally to diagnose faults on vehicles) he said my heart was all over the place. Very slow missed a beat or two then went faint and started again?? As I’m of a nervous disposition this did not help so I won’t get him to listen again.
