Double IVC

I was wondering if anyone else has a double IVC (inferior Vena Cava)? On CT scans for my gut issues they reported this. I have always had palpations but now daily and frequently. My cardiologist doesn’t think there’s a correlation but apparently it’s very rare. Wondered what others think?

Hi Licas, unusual as this is, I think it's probably best to heed the words of your cardiologist rather than the opinions of we ordinary mortals who have limited knowledge. I hadn't heard of this phenomenon, so read a little about it, and it's clearly something that's probably best explained by someone who really knows what they are talking about!

Thanks for that. I suppose what I was asking in short is, has anyone on this forum got a double ivc and do they also experience frequent palpations? Cardiologists yes of course have the expertise but it’s interesting to me to hear from people that speak from actual experiences.

I too have double IVC and PVCs and was also wondering if they were related.
