Chest pain/pressure 3 weeks post-ablation

I (M, 33) had cardiac ablation for ventricular tachycardia.

After the procedure, I felt weak but no real pain other than a little around my insertion points in my femoral arteries.

2 weeks after the procedure, I went on a 4-mile walk (which was too long), and that evening my heart started racing to around 170, then coming back to normal, then racing, then normal, etc. for about 4 hours.

I went in to the hospital, and they doubled my Verapamil and monitored me for a few days, then released me.

It’s now 4 days later, and I’m experiencing chest pain on the left side. It’s mild, but it’s becoming more frequent compared to when I started feeling some occasionally yesterday. It’s almost like a mild pressure/pain/itch in my heart area.

Has anyone else experienced pain 3 weeks post—ablation after experiencing no pain until that point?

Where did you get it done I went to Vanderbilt University I had Dr Stevenson do it three years ago my lower ventricles I had two v-tacks of 240 bpm they wanted me to wear a defib but I just can’t bring myself to that. I’m on Nadalol but during my ablation which was heavy duty because They knew I wouldn’t take a defib My heart stopped twice during the procedure but they don’t consider it dying because I kept the pulse. Three years later and everything‘s great every now and then I get palpitations but for the most part he’s such a wonderful doctor.
