Hi, I’ve been suffering from palpitations for over two years.
I’ve been recently trying to exercise more as this came up quite a bit that it may be solution or at least improve my symptoms.
I bought the new Apple Watch series 6 which can take ecg as well as a accurate heart rate.
I’ve found that my resting heart rate is 55-59, is this a problem as I’ve read it should be in between 60-100. If it falls below this you need to be an athlete ?
I’m certainly not an athlete but I’m also not really unfit either.
I don’t know if out of anyone’s experiences they have been told maybe it just differs slightly from person to person.
My Apple Watch which is only a 1 lead ECG has stated It hasn’t detected Afib. Which is great news I guess. But I most certainly can see the ectopics or palpitations on the screen as I feel them.
Just wondering if the slow heart rate at rest is maybe linked to this or if they are benign. I have had multiple tests on the structure of my heart which has come back as sound, but I am more worried about my electrical side to be fair.
Thanks for reading this and if anyone has any experiences or advice that would be great.
Take care in these crazy time,
Matt
