Ectopics,muscle twitching and nissen fundoplication

Hi does anyone know if there is a relationship between having had a Nissan fundoplication for hiatus hernia and the onset of ectopic beats. I had a Nissen 25 years ago and have a hiatus hernia that has returned for about 10 years. Approx. 18 months ago i started getting ectopics after getting the flu. Recently the ectopics have kicked off pretty regularly and I suspect it has something to do the the heart stomach as .i feel like they are coming from the gastric junction area. Anyone have similiar experiences? Additionally i started geeting muscle.twitching all over my body for.no apparent reason which comes and goes. Trying to see if there is any connection between all these issues. Doctors aren't making any connections...

I have frequent ectopics (bad at the moment, about every 4 beats for 2 days, including, I think, all night). I associate them with swallowing air and stomach gurgling. I also have post-polio syndrome. In the last year I have had twitching in my legs but also in the side of my chest which I thought was heart but now believe is from my PPS. I suspect that it may all be connected with the vagus nerve which may have been damaged when I had polio and is irritated by gas in the stomach/bowels.
