Hi everyone, just want to thank everyone for being there for me before and after my ablation, and also the wishes for Colin my hubby having his kidney out after having his three heart attacks and his stent fitted.

Today we got the ct results and we are both walking on air🤗 they got all the cancer out when they took the kidney👍🤗🤗🤗 there is a small nodule on his lung but they said they are not too worried as it has not changed since his ct in October so they have booked him in for another ct in September and said they might take the module if necessary or treat with tablets.

He can now concentrate on having the second stent put in.

We are so so happy, I even relented to allowing him to look for a new car after we came out of the hospital didn’t realise this would take 4 hours and 3 showrooms lol. It’s a man thing, me.... a spa to celebrate seems more normal!!!!!

Sorry to ramble, you can tell I am happy for a change. Had to share with you.

Thank you all so much for all your support.

Will still be reading all the posts and help where I can.

Might even go to Austria to see my relatives late in year yehhhhh lots of love to all Ursula x

I’m so glad you feel good after the ablation and it has been a success. I can’t wait to get to the point where I actually just accept its over and I get my confidence back with my heart. X

What wonderful news, can hear your delight from here lol. Enjoy enjoy enjoy, such a relief for you both. Nothing like regaining health for lifting the spirits. Now let him buy that car, go to a spa and book that holiday. Understanding the devastating affects of compromised health I am delighted for your return to good health. Yay !!

Thanks so much meadfoot means a lot yeh woke up this morning and still can’t believe it. I had a phishing email last night which I had to report, normally would be devasted, thinking all my privacy had been taken from my iPad but do you know. Just reported it! Moved on! Life is so short got to start living again, positive attitude, let the heart rest without testing it for stress eh? X

wonderful news - I am so pleased for you both.

I still have to decide on whether to have an ablation for my SVT so I find any good news very uplifting.

Thank you Frankiehf, I had svt for 18 years was controlling my life, never wanting to plan ahead in case I had a “do”.

I had my ablation on 3rd January and am now great, go everywhere, am tablet free, it is worth really thinking about it. I had GA so went in put to sleep and woke up when everything was over. Great🤗xx

May have already posted with you. In case not, send summary of recovery from ablation 15 months ago. Took a lot longer than was advised by PA & cardiologist. 'Course "recovery" is relative. For me, it meant getting back on basketball court with men 30 or more years younger. And back-packing over several nights out in national park...carrying 30 lbs with significant elevation gain. Maybe I'm greedy.
