So I finally got a cardiology appointment since my failed ablation and I found out more information from my procedure.
Apparently they corrected my initial SVT issue, but in turn it triggered another issue. So since my procedure, I've been feeling many tiny flutters throughout the day (maybe like 8+ times a day). Before my procedure I would get 1 or 2 "bigger" episodes (3+ min) every other month maybe? So I am pretty frustrated now.
At my appointment, I was prescribed Verapamil ER 120 Mg. My doctor said I should start feeling better pretty quickly after starting it. I only started taking it about 3 days ago, but I'm still getting the flutters and on top of it, I'm thinking it's making me really tired (one of the side effects, but who knows, maybe it's just allergies). Does anyone know anything about this medication and the time frame of it working?

I can't help with your enquiry and nor, it would seem, can any others but you may find someone will help on the AF Association or British Heart Foundation forums.
I took Verapamil for SVT for several years. It made me very tired at first but within a few months, I got used to it and eventually, I had zero side effects. But then after a few years it started not working very well... so I did an ablation.
