Arrhythmia and clueless of the cause!

My husband is 38 yo. One day he started feeling tired and weak and started vomiting. He went to hospital and they found that his heart rate was irregular.. gave him electric shocks thrice in 2 days and then kept him on monitoring .They have run all tests and everything has come back fine. No blockages in heart. But the issue is heart is not pumping blood properly so they inserted a balloon pump. Over all they have not been able to diagnose the root cause yet. He is a healthy man without any history of hospitalisation. They are suspecting some kind of virus but still not sure. Has anyone experienced any thing similar.. Please share. Thank you in advance.

Hi has he done a blood work? I have heart ectopic heartbeat it was worsen in January.. I used to have heart rate 140bpm.. Ectopic heartbeat was really frequent.. When I was about to faint that was the the 1st time I had beta blocker and hope that was the last time. I was in that situation where I was crazily looking for the reasons why am having this and had seen few doctors. After done blood works..Then I have the clue about the caused. I restored back my electrolyte and need to take care of my diets (so not trigger the ectopics or raised heart rate that coming for no reason).. Not thinking too much at the same time and regular exercise (walking 1-2 km almost everyday and breathing exercise) help me better.
