Its reassuring to hear am not the only one who's suffering with Palpitations.
It has been just over three years since it all started. It has improved but it's steel a daily thing for me. It affects me the most in the morning when am on my way to & from work "climbing steps or incline" and in the evening when resting.
I can't help but worry that I will have to carryon living with it for the rest of my life

I had the same it was effecting my life in so many ways that I had to be medically be retired - each day was a constant battle and could not assume while in work to still not have any sick days off or be taken ill at work. I felt alone when I was first diagnosed and it was not easy to come to terms with it either. It took me several year medication worked to a point then suddenly it stopped being as effective. I have my first SVT ablation 2013 and my second AF ablation in 2016 and still have a few issues since and feel that thesis as good as it gets for me now. As for working life that has gone and found other ways in which I can work from home that works well for me - so no more stressful moments. wishing you well. Rhonda
I have had palpitations for 42 years,I have learned to live with it, it definitely affects my life on a daily basis,I,m 70 now. I take bisoprolol for svt which developed 11 years ago.
I had palpitations for 12 years! Iv had 5 ablations, different drugs, and about 15 cardio versions nothing helped and then my heart went into bradycardia. 3 years ago I had abdominal pacemaker and since then my palpitations are controlled. I'm only on warfarin and no other drugs for the heart. I have CHD and SVT.
