I've recently been diagnosed with the above... Cardiologist says not dangerous unless it lasts 24 hrs or more. When I mentioned I also have acid reflux, he put 2 and 2 together and said people with stomach symptoms like mine often have tendency to get palpitations too as the stomach nerve bundle is shared by the heart... Vagus nerve I reckon. So controlling stomach acid levels will help my heart symptoms most likely 😂
