Biopsy. Sent the wrong results. Botched hysterectomy

Hi there. I’ve just had biopsy from a lap back and it says it was endo. I didn’t understand how as I’ve had a hysterectomy nearly 2 years ago, I’ve never been diagnosed with it before. They found a cyst in June and was told it was on my ovary ( which I don’t have) . I asked my surgeon to give me a bit more in depth report on the endometriosis and I received an email Sunday from him saying my test results were mixed up and it wasn’t endo it was ovarian residue....

Basically whoever did my hysterectomy let a tiny part of my ovary and it regenerates and grew a cyst. I’m absolutely shocked ! I’m thinking about looking into complaining and maybe compensation as it’s messed with my mental health a great deal . Has anyone done this ? Or know anyone who has?

Thanks guys

Stay safe

Kim
