How much bleeding is normal post op after a total hysterectomy and BSO?

Hi there - I’ve just started bleeding more and am wearing pads - I am 16 days post op - I am a bit concerned and if it continues I will consult my gp. Prior to this new bleeding recently I have had little bleeding. Have you been given reassurance regarding the bleeding?

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy and never had any bleeding or discharge at all! I am also a Nurse and I advise you to call the Dr and be checked out. Some bleeding is normal but if it is getting heavier you need to be checked out by the Dr ❤️
