Has anyone had loss of hair starting a couple of months after surgery?
Mine has been horribly shedding for a month now! I am taking Biotin vitamins, regular multivitamins and using a Biotin shampoo. It has slowed a bit but my hair is so thin now! I even got it trimmed hoping that would help! Just wondering if anyone else went through that, if so what did you do and WHEN does it stop?

Assuming you've had a hysterectomy, and gone into menopause...without HRT? If so, then hair loss is a classic symptom of the menopause & loss of hormones.
Suggest you speak to you Dr & see what replacement hormone therapy might suit you (or alternative if that is not a route you wish to go down).
I am 66 went thru menopause at 57...never lost a single hair! Had a complete abdominal hysterectomy 7 months ago and three months later my hair started shedding like crazy! I didn’t ever take any hormones either going thru menopause or now.
I am 4 weeks post op and am experiencing this too! Its similar to what I experienced post partum due to the drop in estrogen. I kept my ovaries though so I'm surprised by this. Did you keep your ovaries?
