Hi I'm six weeks post op after a full hysterectomy and I'm still bleeding and I have pain up inside my vagina and pain and tenderness on my tummy and belly button where my scars and stiches was.

has anyone else felt like this .

Hi I am 3 weeks post op I have similar symptoms I would say I'm just uncomfortable but still sore around belly button area and having watery blood discharge.

Hi sorry you are in pain. I assume you had abdominal hysterectomy when you say 'full'? Not sure what 'full' is. 6 weeks is still very early. I'd recommend the hysterectomy association website. You can read about women who have had the same type of op as you at the same time so you can see what is normal or not normal. They also gave an excellent recovery guide as well which impersonally followed to the letter. I'm glad I did as now I am 12 weeks on I am back up to nearly full strength.
