Talking to someone, then become incoordinate, know what I want to say but burble, can see reaction from person I'm talking too, so apologise

Last couple of months, quite suddenly words mixed up, I attempt to correct myself, but gets worse? Even when speaking to myself something similar keeps happening? Could be start of something, progressive dementia? Who should I go to?
